R. STAHL has extended its range of lighting technology for hazardous areas, adding two powerful, lightweight plastic hand lamps. Designed for zone 1 and 2 explosive gas atmospheres, the model 6141/61 measures approximately 14 cm and weighs merely 45 g, while the model 6141/62, which can also be used in zone 21 and 22 explosive dust atmospheres, measures approximately 17 cm and weighs 190 g. Both types can easily be carried along by users. A bright LED, which is switched on by means of a push button at the end of the lamp, provides a 50 Lumen output (for the dust atmosphere model) or a 20 Lumen output (gas atmosphere).

Featuring a very robust design, the hand lamps are waterproof according to IP68. A wide range of accessories is available for both types, including match-ing leather holsters, a warning light hood and a fibre optic top piece as well as fixed and adjustable helmet brackets for fire fighters and emergency services. A first set of batteries is included in delivery. To exchange batteries, the lamp must be opened outside of hazardous areas.
