An integral part of the equipment is the curriculum material, both paper-based and E-learning software. The theory, background and practical instruction material allows the student to progress through a series of assignments using the hardware and the unique browser-based Discovery software from either stand-alone PCs or via an intranet.

Discovery Manager is a browser-based management system for Discovery Software. It allows control of student administration, statistical monitoring and student records from an integral database. Tools include Tutor editing, learning material author and a Tutor question authoring system.
