Feedback Instruments Limited is the founder member of the Feedback plc group and serves the global education and industry markets for engineering training systems and solutions.

Established in 1958, as a designer and manufacturer of laboratory equipment and curriculum material, the addition of complementary E-learning software materials and a virtual learning environment now represents a key element of the learning experience.

The Feedback group consists of the holding company Feedback PLC, Feedback Instruments Limited, Feedback Incorporated in America, Feedback Data Limited, Feedback Data GmbH and Feedback Hungary.

With a very large and established customer base throughout the world, Feedback is highly regarded as a premier supplier of reliable, high quality and competitively priced products.

Feedback Instruments has been manufacturing engineering training equipment for education and industry for over forty-five years. Its products include laboratory equipment, curriculum, assignments, E-learning materials and a virtual learning environment to manage and monitor student progress.

Over 80% of Feedback's products are exported - to more than 120 countries worldwide. Local overseas support is provided by a network of agents offering sales, marketing and support.

The company employs highly qualified staff and maintains close links with the industrial and educational worlds. Feedback's reputation is founded on a team of experienced specialists in hardware and software and development, production and marketing and guided by one strategic aim: "the application of current technology to provide a better educational product".

With quality as a keystone to its success, Feedback has the following accreditations and associations with its markets:

The Worlddidac Quality Charter is a certification for companies in education who strive to comply with the objectives of the international development organisations. Certification under the Worlddidac Quality Charter is a documented assurance for maximising the benefits in multilateral projects and in providing confidence about a project ’s sustainability in the recipient country.

Feedback is a member of the British Educational Suppliers Association that serves the needs of both the UK and overseas markets.

All Feedback equipment is rigorously tested to meet the latest stringent international safety standards and to ensure that it will continue to give reliable service for many years. Feedback also operates its own Electro-Magnetic Compatibility (EMC) facility and complies with relevant European Directives.

Many product designs originate from universities and colleges worldwide. The product and software are developed to complement and support teaching requirements to meet the growing demands of new technology.

Feedback Instruments acts as a consultant, providing advice on course structure, curriculum development and laboratory layout. The company also provides commissioning, training and after-sales service, world-wide. Students and lecturers from all over the world visit Feedback for product training and to attend courses on specific areas of training and new technology.

An integral part of the equipment is the curriculum material, both paper-based and E-learning software. The theory, background and practical instruction material allows the student to progress through a series of assignments using the hardware and the unique browser-based Discovery software from either stand-alone PCs or via an intranet.

Discovery Manager is a browser-based management system for Discovery Software. It allows control of student administration, statistical monitoring and student records from an integral database. Tools include Tutor editing, learning material author and a Tutor question authoring system.
