FOR JOINING ALUMINIUM AND COPPER CONDUCTORS

Designed for making of service conductors in pillar boxes, Electropar’s elliptical joints are manufactured with blind holes from elliptically shaped solid aluminium. This one size of solid aluminium accommodates a wide range of conductor sizes and requires only one EJ die to compress any combination of conductor sizes.

Elliptical joints are supplied individually labelled and sealed in plastic packs. Installation must be completed using EP Jointseal and EP Uniseal in the fitting and on the conductors. Common sizes of elliptical joints are listed in the table below.
