Process Engineer

 

ELECTROPAR PLP is the leading Supplier of Power Fittings and Systems within New Zealand and Australia. Due to an internal restructure, we are currently accepting applications for the position of PROCESS ENGINEER.

To secure this role you will have the following experience and attributes:

  • Trade certificate plus NZCE or 5 years experience in process engineering roles.

  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft office packages.

  • Experience with implementing LEAN initiatives within an engineering business.

  • Experience with training.

  • Experience with operating CAM programs.

  • Experience with aluminium welding would be a benefit.

  • Able to show evidence of process improvements in a jobbing environment.

  • Monthly Reporting of improvements and Development work achieved.

  • Assist with scheduling of Planned Maintenance in factory.

  • Able to design simple machines and processes.

The successful candidate will report to the Manufacturing Manager.

Technical Sales Representative

 

Electropar PLP Limited has a new role available in the “Control & Defence” sales division.  The role covers both maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing sales relationships with new clients.  The position also incorporates the maintenance and development of new products and suppliers.

Reporting to the Sales Manager – Control & Defence the role is a combination of inside sales and external client visits which will require some out of town travel. The position is based in our Auckland Head Office.

Your key responsibilities include:

  •  Sales duties that include contributing technical responses for sales proposals

  •  Helping in the design of custom-made products

  •  Management of sales order entry for complex projects

  • Staying abreast of current industry trends and developments

  • Researching potential target markets for products and services 

  • Actively supporting the Sales and Marketing team to ensure the overall success of the team

  • Meeting regular sales targets and coordinating sales projects

  •  

Several years experience in selling to the Electrical industry would be an advantage. It is preferable the candidate have electrical qualifications as would be knowledge of “Hazardous Area Electrical Equipment.”  However, full training will be provided.

This is a new position and has potential for growth.
