Newson Gale was founded by its present Chairman and CEO in 1988 to represent Alloy Products Corp in the UK with their ‘easy to specify, quote and order’ portable pressure vessels – a product line still actively selling today.

The company’s experience and expertise in electrostatic earthing for hazardous areas goes back more than 30 years with the acquisition in 1990 of ‘Cenelectrex®’ - a company supplying road tanker earthing systems to UK oil majors and chemical companies, - itself a company spun out of a larger industrial group in 1982.

Today the ‘Newson Gale ’ range of earthing products covers a full spectrum of related products from simple purpose designed static earthing clamps and cables, to mains and battery powered ‘Bond-Rite’ Indication systems to full interlock ‘Earth-Rite’ systems for road and rail tankers, FIBCs and process plant monitoring. All the products are supported with test equipment and training courses.

With experienced representatives in many areas of the world, Newson Gale pools it’s application knowledge to engineer high reliability products to suit many standard as well as ‘special’ applications.

In 2005 the company achieved the prestigious ‘Queen's Award for Enterprise’ for increasing overseas sales of Cenelectrex® static earthing equipment by 70% in just three years. 

Also in 2005 Newson Gale established a US subsidiary, Newson Gale Inc, based in New Jersey, to give North American distributors and customers, sales, marketing and technical support with ‘off the shelf’ delivery from a US inventory.
