The Earth-Rite TELLUS monitors static earth connections for a wide range of filling, blending and mixing applications. The flexible and lightweight indicator station is easy to install, and can be mounted in a variety of locations within the hazardous area, with the power supply mounted in the local ‘non-hazardous’ area. |

For specialized plant and equipment situated in combustible or flammable atmospheres, with several potentially isolated conductive components (such as dryers, filling and conveying systems), the Earth-Rite MULTIPOINT provides static earth monitoring of up to (8) points with operator feedback and interlock capability. |

The Earth-Rite FIBC system verifies the resistance and safe earthing of Type C “Big-Bags” or “Super-Sacks” in combustible or flammable atmospheres. |

The Earth-Rite OMEGA is an extremely flexible DIN rail mounted Intrinsically Safe module which may be used in two different ways; first, as a discrete static earth monitoring component in a larger plant instrumentation and control system; second, as part of a dedicated static earth indicator and interlock system for monitoring and controlling in applications as diverse as flammable liquid storage tanks and drum storage racks. |

Bond-Rite®
Self Testing Static Earthing Clamps
For applications where control switches or PLCs are not available for output contacts, the Bond-Rite range is the best solution for maximising the safety of processes generating static in hazardous areas.
- Encouraging operators to earth equipment before the process is initiated, a bright green LED flashes when it detects a low resistance connection to the equipment.
- Once connected, the Bond-Rite continuously monitors the ‘earth loop’ between the potentially charged equipment and designated earth point.
- If the connection to equipment or earthed points are compromised, the LED will stop flashing, warning operator of a potential static hazard.
- The Bond-Rite range has been adapted for processes that require short term earthing to processes where customers prefer 24/7 indication.
All Bond-Rite systems enable hazardous area operators demonstrate best practice compliance with CLC/TR: 50404 and NFPA 77.

The Bond-Rite CLAMP, patented exclusively by Newson Gale, is the only static earthing clamp which provides operators with positive visual verification that potentially charged equipment is connected to a dedicated static earth connection. The clamp contains an LED which flashes continuously when the clamp detects the earth loop has a resistance of 10 ohms or less. |

The Bond-Rite REMOTE provides the same functional benefits as the Bond-Rite CLAMP but suits customer applications where it is preferable to locate the LED and PCB in a wall mounted enclosure. The indicator station can be supplied with either a standard GRP enclosure or with stainless steel for hygienic or corrosive environments. |

The Bond-Rite EZ is a unique portable unit that bonds equipment engaged in liquid or powder transfers conducted in locations where installed earthing & bonding equipment is not provided. The EZ comprises a Bond-Rite CLAMP with a flashing LED located in the clamp housing combined with the option of a heavy-duty or medium duty 2 pole clamp, plus a flexible range of cable length options to complete the assembly. |

Cen-Stat
The Cen-Stat range of clamps, cables and reels are single circuit applications that rely on high strength mechanical circuits to dissipate static electricity from potentially charged equipment.
Cen-Stat clamps are specially designed to dissipate static electricity from potentially charged equipment and are subjected to rigorous FM & ATEX testing standards.
In some cases, hazardous area operators rely on small clips and welding clamps to earth equipment without any guarantee they are penetrating hardened product deposits, rust or paint. To mitigate against this uncertainty Cen-Stat clamps are fitted with a pair of tungsten carbide tips to bite through connection inhibitors and achieve direct electrical contact to potentially charged equipment. The stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistant benefits and is capable of working in tough industrial environments.
The clamps can be supplied with static dissipative Hytrel coated retractable spiral cable or static discharge reels.

The Cen-Stat X45 and X90 are general purpose static earthing clamps certified to ATEX and FM guidelines for safe use within hazardous areas. Each clamp is made from corrosion resistant stainless steel and contains two hard wearing tungsten carbide tips that bite through rust, paint and product deposits. They are designed especially for use on large containers, drums and IBCs. |

Cen-Stat static discharge reels provide personnel with a convenient means of stowing static earthing clamps and cable when not in use. The cable reels can be supplied in 20 ft, 30 ft and 50 ft lengths. The galvanised cable is covered with a layer of high visibility Hytrel coating protecting it from chemical attack. |

Cen-Stat clamps are supplied as standard with straight or retractable spiral cable in lengths of 5mtr (16ft), 10mtr (32ft) and 15mtr (50ft) and straight lengths of up to 500mtr (1640ft). The hi-visibility Hytrel® coating is IEC 60446 compliant and protects the 4mm diameter multi-stranded galvanised steel conductor from chemical and environmental degradation. |

The Sole-Mate is designed to test personnel footwear resistance before entering a hazardous area. The tester measures the resistance of the footwear to ensure static is capable of dissipating from personnel through their shoes to earth. The tester confirms footwear is compliant with CLC/TR 50404 & ASTM F2413-05 (Type I). |

The IS Tester is an ATEX certified intrinsically safe ohm-meter that can be used in hazardous areas to measure the electrical continuity of Cen-Stat clamp / cable connections to ground points and also be used for identifying potentially isolated process equipment that may require a dedicated earthing solution. |
