As you are aware, PLP Rack Technologies Ltd (RT) is a subsidiary company of Preformed Line Products (PLP).

In August 2010, PLP acquired Electropar (EP) a New Zealand owned and operated business specializing in Power-Distribution, Transmission, Control and Components products.

After conducting a detailed analysis of the PLP, EP and RT operations within New Zealand, PLP decided to consolidate the manufacturing and assembly plants of EP and RT into the EP premises of 35 – 39 Lady Ruby Drive, East Tamaki, Auckland.

This will give greater flexibility and efficiency to the Rack Technologies business through increased resources, support and streamlined internal processes.

From the 1st of January 2011 all purchase orders and transactions for RT products will be processed through the EP Customer Services Team with all Invoicing generated by Electropar for payment. All RT customers who are not an existing EP customer please complete the supplied Customer Credit Application as soon as possible and return to EP Auckland. The EP company contacts and vendor details are listed below as well as a copy of the EP direct debit/bank details.

Between the 1st January and 1st March the RT assembly operation in Wellington will be moved to the Electropar operation in East Tamaki, Auckland.

During this period of change EP and RT will endeavour to ensure that the level of service and quality you are used to from RT will be maintained.
