Tubular Dead End Assemblies

 

For Full Tension Terminating of Steel Core Aluminium Conductors

Electropar's Tubular Dead End assemblies use the industry standard aluminium and steel compression combination. The dead end steel is a forged, galvanised fitting for compression on to the steel core of the conductor. The aluminium sleeve compresses over the steel forging and aluminium strands of the conductor.

Tubular Dead End assemblies are supplied as standard with a single jumper. Double jumper units are available upon request.

The angle of the jumper terminal and/or the jumper strap can be altered to suit indvidual
requirements. Electropar's Tubular Dead End assemblies develop 95% of the conductor rated UTS and meet the type test requirements of IEC 61284 ANDASU54.

Tubular dead end assemblies are supplied with Uni-Grip "C" jointing compound. Crimping can be done with conventional AF dies for the aluminium and steel components respectively.
