For Compressing ACSR, Aluminium and Copper Conductors

Manufactured from steel billet, hardened and stamped with the applicable die size, Electropar's aluminium dies carry the characters "DA". Copper dies feature the characters "DCU". Steel dies feature the characters "DS". When compressing solid aluminium conductor, peg dies should always be used and these are specified by the suffix "P".

Every "EP" compression fitting manufactured by Electropar is marked with the correct die size to use when compressing that fitting. The tables below summarise the correct dies to use. Always check the die size marked on the fitting before carrying out a compression.
