For Terminating Steel GUYWIRE
Electropar's guy grips are designed to be used with galvanised steel guy wire for guying distribution power poles.
Guy grips may be removed and reapplied a maxiumum of three times during the installation of new lines for the purpose of retensioning the guys. Guy grips dead ends should not be re-used after the original installation, and should not be allowed to rotate around the conductor strands.
The lay direction of both the guy grip and the steel wire conductor strands should be the same. Most stranding is right hand lay and all Electropar guy grips feature right hand lay as standard.
Guy grips are supplied individually colour coded and labelled for easy identification. Popular sizes are listed in the table below. |
