Copper Dead Ends

For Terminating Bare Copper Overhead Conductors

Electropar's copper dead ends are manufactured from copperweld (copper coated steel) and are designed to effect the easy termination of bare copper overhead conductors.
For insulation, the dead end should be wrapped on to the conductor as far as the colour coding mark.
Dead ends can be removed and adjusted up to a maximum of three times, but there after they must not be re-used. Electropar copper dead ends comply with the requirements of AS 1154: part 2 (1985) in terms of their ability to hold the UTS of the conductor.
